Until you feel the pain yourself that you can not really understand the thousands who suffer with on a daily basis. Yet, according to statistics, the majority of people in the Western world is suffering from a big back pain once in their lives. But some people will go through the pain not only once but several times, or continuously to last for years. In mysterious circumstances, in spite of injuries such as injury, sports, or can cause weakness lifted back pain, and a lot of pain for no apparent reason. In rare cases there are more sinister reasons, and for this reason should be ignored any back pain should seek professional advice in the week.

So when you think of back pain, we must first ask, there was a particular reason. Then, if not, the reason is mechanical (ie reform) or not. Then, depending on the probable cause - how can we control the pain? What prevention and self-care strategies can be used to relieve back pain? What treatments are available?

The truth is that back pain can be from foot conditions occur, such as swelling, pain in the heel, and the burning of the soles, laces for a hit, and so on. Hip problems, knee problems, sports injuries, car accidents, inappropriate bending and lifting all linked to back pain. Neck and jaw can also cause back problems by interfering in the balance. Of course there are many others, but you get the picture. With many variables related to back pain, and should become educated on how the spine is structured and what happens if that structure has been breached. Start and what can we learn about back pain, and how we can eliminate this stress in our lives.

Who do you see when you start back pain?

There are a lot of qualified people to check back and determine possible causes. We'll start with the most obvious one to one doctor. Well, in fact, many doctors, even if they are qualified are too busy with life-threatening conditions to provide appropriate examination to determine the cause. This is why they can refer to tests such as magnetic resonance imaging or less common these days rays. You can even be referred to a physiotherapist or consultant. Arthritis Consultants and specialists may be the bones (bones and joints), or even a neurologist (nerve specialist).

One drawback with consultants is that they determine whether you have a problem, and can be handled can not be serious enough for them to consider the risks of surgery. The second disadvantage is that if they can not find the problem and submit a report to the family doctor for your, you can not go back before the right adviser.

Who else is there?

As well as dealing with many massage muscles cause back pain, and experienced often will tell you quickly if they suspect something else.

But perhaps the most qualified to watch your back before everybody are those who have spent longer learning of thorns, and spend some time on the day of each work - a Osteopaths and chiropractors. This is to take nothing away from the rest, it is a fact that when it comes to doctors of the spine chiropractic or bones had more training and more experience.

How do I find a good doctor "again?

First, it provides an opportunity for you to meet with them, either for free or for a small fee. This is mainly to see if you can get along with the person processing requires confidence.

Second, they do not regularly everybody X-rays, or only when clinically appropriate? Some argue should be everyone, some say that everyone should be - and I suggest you go with what you want and perhaps an interview two doctors!

Third, they offer more than manipulation? This can be especially important if you have chronic back pain, it may be both long-term care of what you need after the initial pain exercise facilitator.

Fourthly, you will be more than your spine checked in to say _ also must examine the feet, neck and jaw.
